Boys basketball drops to 4-15 after loss to Gaithersburg

The boys basketball team lost to the 7-12 Gaithersburg Trojans, 57-52, Feb. 10, lowering its  record to 4-15. 

The Vikes took a slim lead in the second half,  leading the Trojans 23-21. Gaithersburg came back in the second half to tie the score by the third quarter, and pull ahead by five points, ultimately winning the game.

Forward Andrew Castagnetti scored a career-high 25 points, while forward Daniel Lowet scored 13.

Next, the Vikes host the 5-14 Blair Blazers Feb. 14 for senior night.
