The boys basketball team fell, 46-39, against the 7-5 Richard Montgomery Rockets Jan. 13, lowering its record to 3-9.
The Vikes took an early lead, powered by forward Andrew Castagnetti, who scored 15 points during the game. The team scored 12 points to the Rockets’ five in the first quarter, and ended the half leading 26-19.
The Rockets managed to pull ahead in the second half, tying the score by the third quarter. The game ended 46-39, giving the Vikes their third close loss in a row.
Next, the Vikes look to garner a win at home against the 5-6 Walter Johnson Wildcats Jan. 20.
