Power forward Shaq Diboti-Lobe again led the Viking offense, totaling 29 points. During the final quarter, the Blazers defense covered Diboti-Lobe more aggressively, allowing him to draw more fouls.

After one controversial call, a skirmish erupted between some of the players, though it was quickly broken up by the coaches and referees.

Immediately afterwards, Diboti-Lobe powered through Blair’s zone defense to make a layup and and draw a foul before completing a three point play. Diboti-Lobe responded to to his turnovers with important baskets, he said.

“It was frustrating, and I kind of lost my cool,” Diboti-Lobe said. “But I picked my head up and got my head back in the game, and we came away with the win.”

The Vikings, who are now 4-1 on the season, stay at home to play rival B-CC Monday evening.
