Girls volleyball shuts out Walter Johnson, 3-0

The 4-2 girls volleyball team defeated the 0-6 Walter Johnson Wildcats, 3-0 on Sept. 30.

The first set ended at 25-16 when setter Eliana Schafer set the team up for an easy point-by-point win.

The second set was more intense with a 25-20 final score, but the team proved its dominance in the final set, winning 25-15.

Once again the Whitmaniacs were an essential part to the Vikes’ game (last week with the help of cheering fans the Vikes beat B-CC 3-0). The team highly anticipate its Oct. 8th game when the Vikes travel to face the Winston Churchill Bulldogs.
