The girls soccer team continued its offensive dominance, beating the Blair Blazers 3-0, Sept. 23.
The offensive attack was lead by senior Aliza Wolfe, who scored two goals on penalty kicks, and junior Emma Anderson also had a goal of her own.
The defense also continued to play well holding the Blazers to less than six shots on goal and helping the team earn its third shutout in its first four games.
“We have succeeded in getting all players of different positions into the attack,” senior Anna Gurney said.
Gurney also thinks the team’s chemistry has been a key part in their success.
“Our biggest strength is our chemistry because we are all one big family,” Gurney said. “I think that shows in our support for one another on and off the field.”
