The field hockey team suffered its second defeat of the season against the Poolesville Falcons in a double overtime thriller, losing 1-0.
Despite the team’s best efforts, its defense fell short in the second overtime period, allowing Poolesville to net a goal in for the win.
The girls hope to get their season back on track by tallying a victory against the Wootton Patriots this Wednesday, Sept. 19.

“We really hope to come out with a win and even out our record,” Midfielder Abby Gross said.
