Jazz music flowed through the warm springtime air May 11 and 12 as many locals strolled down Auburn and Norfolk Avenues in downtown Bethesda for the 10th annual Fine Arts Festival.

Paintings, photographs, jewelry, clothing, glasswork, ceramics, woodwork and other pieces of art were displayed in white tents along the blocked-off streets.

Bands performed on a stage surrounded by vendors from local restaurants.

The event let 126 artists from around the country showcase and sell their works to willing buyers.

The bright sun and pleasant atmosphere made the festival an ideal way for families, friends and couples to spend their afternoon.
