Gaithersburg started the game strong and dominated offensively, scoring touchdowns in the first and second quarter. The Trojans utilized their large wide receivers and found holes in the Viking defense. The Vikes entered halftime down by 14.

The Trojans yet again opened the quarter with two consecutive touchdowns, along with a two-point conversion, bringing the score to 28-0.

Tight end Jeff Gruen caught a 46 yard pass from quarterback Henry Kuhn to close out the third quarter, but the Vikings failed to convert in the red zone.

Both teams remained scoreless in the fourth quarter, sealing the win for the Trojans. The Vikes ended their season at 7-4. While losing a senior class filled with immeasurable talent, the team will look to the junior class and the JV team to fill the starting positions.
