Varsity football fell to the Gaithersburg Trojans 26-7 on Oct 15, lowering its record to 5-2.
The Vikes started off slow and allowed two touchdowns early in the game. The Trojans easily passed the ball over the middle of the field and controlled the tempo of the game.
At the start of the second quarter, the Trojans broke through the Viking defense yet again, resulting in another Gaithersburg touchdown.

Running back Val Djidotor took the ball in from the two yard line, giving the Vikes their only touchdown of the night.
The Trojans scored again to close the first half.
Despite many attempts by the Viking offense, the boys failed to score for the remainder of the game.
The boys look to get back on track when they travel to Springbrook and take on the 5-1 Blue Devils on Oct 23.
