Girls lax crushes Einstein 17–1 in first playoff game

By Reuben Stoll

The girls lacrosse team (11–2) took down the Einstein Titans (2–10) Wednesday night in the first round of the playoffs.

The Vikes started the game out hot and never looked back. The team’s offense dominated and the Einstein defense had no answer for attacker Abby Waldvogel who tallied 2 goals and 3 assists in the game. Goalies Jackie Shipp and Lehka Kachoria held down the defense, only allowing one goal and midfielder Kylie O’Hara went 16/16 on draws.

Next, the Vikes look to continue their playoff push against the Walter Johnson Wildcats (11–2) Friday, May 9 at 5:15 pm at home.
