On Oct. 6, the girls tennis team came up with a win against Walter Johnson.
The Lady Vikes continued their winning streak, winning 6-1 to cross-town rival Walter Johnson. The team played strong across the board with junior standout Sarah Macy crushing the competition.
“WJ’s always a pretty big competitor of ours. We went in expecting a tough match,” says senior Christina Davis.
The girls hope to continue their undefeated record. They are competing with B-CC and Churchill for the county Division I title. With a win against B-CC, the lady Vikes last big competitor is Churchill, who they face today at home at 3:30 p.m.
“Our season has been really strong, we have barely lost any individual matches,” says Davis. “Churchill is going to be our toughest competition so far.”
