Baseball decimates Churchill Bulldogs 9–4

By Jessie Solomon

After an unfortunate loss in their last game against the BCC Barons, the baseball team (8–3) crushed the Churchill Bulldogs (5–6) on Monday in a 9–4 victory.

The Vikes started off the game with a bang, scoring two runs in the first inning and an additional four runs in the second inning. This powerful offense continued throughout the game, helping the squad secure the lead, and ultimately the victory.

Even though the team lost their footing in the third and fourth innings, allowing the Bulldogs to score four combined runs, the Vikes picked up the defense and were able to come out on top.

The Vikes hope to continue this aggressive offensive play in their next game on the road on Thursday against the Wootton Patriots at 3:45 p.m.
