The boys lacrosse team (6–4) won their second consecutive game 15–1 against the Blair Blazers. This was the largest margin of victory for the Vikes this season.
Goalie Jackson Parker attributes the win to their fast-paced start and focus throughout the game.
“We came out extremely hot right out of the gates,” Parker said. “Our offense got off to a great start and we won the ground ball.”
This win adds to the team’s momentum going into the playoffs with only two games remaining in the regular season. The team hopes to ride this victory and make a deep run into the playoffs.
“It’s big whenever we can come in and show our potential as a team like this,” Parker said. “We can play with anyone in the county as long as we stay focused and practice hard for the playoffs.”
The Vikes’ next match-up is Saturday morning at 10 against Gaithersburg.
