119 buried under rubble after earthquake in Taiwan

United Nations condemns North Korean satellite launch
The launch followed last month’s detonation of a nuclear device, which put pressure on the US to take action. Ted Cruz wins Iowa caucus; Hillary Clinton narrowly beats Bernie Sanders
After months of Trump in the lead in polls, Ted Cruz defeated Trump with 28 percent of the vote. Cruz’s victory is indicative of the muddled nature of the Republican race. Clinton defeated Sanders by just .25 percent of the vote, a small margin that gives Sander fuel for the rest of the primaries.
