Hundreds rally in D.C. to mark the 20th anniversary of the Million Man March

The march on Saturday, organized by Nation of Islam leader Louis Farrakhan, called for social justice for the Black community, echoing the message of the original march 20 years ago. Two bombs hit peace rally in Turkey Saturday

The explosions killed at least 95 people and injured over 200. Citizens gathered to protest escalating violence between Turkish security forces and Kurdish separatist insurgents. Washington Post correspondent reportedly convicted of espionage in Iran.

The reporter, Jason Rezaian, has been imprisoned in Tehran for over 14 months. Iran media reported Monday that Rezaian was convicted of four different charges and now faces 10–20 years in prison. Click here to learn about the sentence and the reaction.
