The girls tennis team netted a 7-0 victory over Paint Branch on senior night to improve its record to 9-2.
All six of the Viking seniors, Kamilla Beisenova, Olivia Tompkins, Whitney Cinkala, Nicole Welch, Bridey Kelly, and Sarah Dar won their matches easily in their final home match of their high school careers.
Tompkins handily beat her opponent 6-0, 6-1 and Beisenova and Cinkala also cruised to victory.
“I think we played really well and had strong offensive and defensive games,” Lauren Evoy said.

The Vikes finish their season away at Northwood, Oct. 15, following two rain-outs of the match previously. Playoffs then begin Oct. 21.
