The girls lacrosse team fell to the Chuchill Bulldogs 14-10 April 15, lowering its record to 3-2.
The Vikes started out strong, and were able to score and gain the lead on the Bulldogs by the half, due to cohesive offense.
Midfielder Maddie Parker was the high scorer of the game, with a total of four goals.
However the flow of the team began to falter in the second half, and the Bulldogs were quick to take advantage.
“In the second half, we let down a lot,” attack Claire Block said. “One of our main problems is working as a team which really hurt us during this game.”
The Bulldogs grabbed the lead and held it for the rest of the game.
“Going forward we are just trying to work more as a team and hopefully that will pay off,” Block said.
The Vikes will travel to face the 4-1 Wootton Patriots April 17.
