The coed volleyball team defeated the Blair Blazers in five sets April 16, bringing its record to 2-4.
After starting the season off 1-4, coach Geoff Schaefer wasn’t happy. Before the game, he held a quick meeting to discuss the team’s previous mistakes. As a result, the team showed up with focus.
Tamara Ibrahim, Catherine Benz, Brandon Eng and Adam Joel led the Vikes to victory against a strong Blazers team winning the matches 23-25, 25-16, 25-15, 21-25 and 15-12.
Schaefer was impressed with how the Vikes played and how quickly they fixed their mistakes.
