The boys tennis team crushed the 3-3 Springbrook Devils, 6-1, April 14, to improve its record on the season to 5-1.
With the help of individual players Joey Gumataotao, Kevin Kay, David Bloch and Joe Davis, the team easily defeated the Devils. Singles player Lucas Schloch was the only Viking to lose, falling in a tight set of games.
Davis crushed his opponent, 6-1 in the first match, and 6-3 in the second, winning the best of three sets between him and his opponent.
“We looked really good out there,” Davis said. “It was good to get a win after our loss to Churchill.”

The team looks to start another winning streak when they travel to Blair, April 17, to face the undefeated Blazers.
