The girls and boys track teams both lost to the B-CC Barons in a home meet April 11, lowering their respective records to 0-2.
Reyna Wright came in first place in both the 100 and 200 meter dash events, in addition to Madeleine Entwistle, who placed first in her 100 meter hurdle event. The boys team earned the top spot in the 100 meter, 200 meter and 400 meter dash events with good finishes by runners Alkaly Soumah, Jorge Richardson and Wes Kendrick.
While the team didn’t win, the meet was still a success as many runners were able to improve on their previous performances, Wright said.
“As a team, the meet went really well,” she said. “A lot of people beat their personal records. We’re going to try to improve our starts and form for next meet.”
Next, the Vikes take on the 2-0 Walter Johnson Wildcats in a tri-meet with the 0-1 Churchill Bulldogs.

I’m jsut wondering how you lose when the score is 0-0, isn’t that a tie? A tie of no points but still a tie.
