The boys tennis team defeated the 0-2 Paint Branch Panthers, March 23, to improve its record on the season to 2-0.
The team won in all seven of matches with the help of singles players Aries Wong, David Bloch, Joey Gumataotao and Kevin Kay.
The boys came out determined to dominate, and it showed as each singles player swept his opponent, and every doubles pairs destroyed their matches.
The team looks to keep its streak alive when it travels to Richard Montgomery, March 27, to face the 1-1 Rockets.
“We want to keep this streak going for as long as we can,” singles player Joe Davis said. “It’s important to start the season strong and keep momentum going into spring break.”
