As a bipartisan bystander who did not care about the outcome, I thought it was a pretty good Super Bowl XLVI. All I really cared about was that it was an exciting game and that the commercials were good.
Eli’s fourth quarter drive to win the game made my first wish come true, and the hilarious M&Ms commercial completed my second wish.
My only complaint was with the half time show and it can be wrapped up in one word: Madonna. I mean really, what die-hard football fan wants to see a 50-year-old women strut her stuff and possibly break a hip?
I don’t know what demographic the league was trying to please with this show, but I can only assume it was 40-year-old women, who we all know are huge football fans.
However, though the “artist” was questionable, the showmanship was amazing, and there were enough flashing lights to make a blind man have a seizure.
Hopefully MIA’s flipping the bird to the camera in the middle of the performance will make the league realize that we need more respectful artists perform.
With the 2012 behind us, we can now look to 2013. There are rumors that Peyton Manning’s contract will be terminated and he is looking at other teams that include the Redskins. So who knows, the Skins could be in the big game within the next few years.

so happy the giants won! lolz finally no more crap-ola about the giants! yeah thats right patriots fans beat ya once this season and then crushed you again when it really counted.. in the SUPER BOWL!!
as for peyton… love him as a QB but seriously? dont get excited redskin fans… if peyton even goes to DC (which is a bad move within itself) how can they count on peyton being as good as he was before his injury? also the redskins are just aweful so even with a former stat QB, he’ll have no one to pass to or to defend him 🙂 in the words of the very defensive Gisele… “he cant throw and catch the *%$@&!^ ball!!”
haha GO GIANTS!!!!!!!
