The boys basketball team fell to the 4-3 Walter Johnson Wildcats, 67-48, Dec. 21, lowering its record to 1-5 on the season.
The team was unable to defend the Wildcats’ offense, with the score 39-16 in favor of the Wildcats going into halftime.
It wasn’t until the fourth that the Vikes picked up their game, winning the fourth quarter 21-13. But it was too little too late, as the boys ultimately lost 67-48.
Forward Daniel Lowet led the Vikes’ offense with 11 points, hitting 7-10 points from the free throw line.
The team looks to improve its record when it travels to Churchill to play the 4-2 Bulldogs Jan.3.
