Hockey defeats Sherwood, 5-2

The hockey team defeated the Sherwood Warriors, 5-2, Dec. 9, raising its record to 3-0.

Two soft goals scored by the Warriors didn’t break the Vikes down.

Forward Lucas Karron contributed a goal and two assists, while forward Andy Dexter added two goals and an assist. Dexter leads the team in points with eight. Forwards Alex Gandolfo and Hunter Marder both had two assists, and forwards Seth Butler and Jeff Marr each had one goal.

The Vikes aim to keep their streak going when they face the Wootton Patriots Dec. 16 at Rockville.
