Fall season Chichester Award winners

Every season, a senior on each team who exemplifies the qualities of sportsmanship, dedication and leadership earns the Britton N. Chichester award. This person is not necessarily the star player, but instead is someone that the other players look up to.

The award is named for Britton Chichester, a three-sport athlete who died in a car accident his senior year. Chichester was not the star of any of his teams but was a dedicated team-player. His family founded the award in his honor and presented the award to the winners for several years.

The Chichester award is different from most other awards in that the teammates are the ones who decided the winner. Each person has a single vote and they can vote for any senior on the team.
