The football team beat the 2-7 Walter Johnson Wildcats, 32-16, Oct. 28, raising its record to 5-4.There was an unusually high amount of safeties throughout the game, with two for the Vikes and one for the Wildcats.
The Vikes’ running game showed its strength yet again, scoring by rush four times during the game. Val Djidotor led the team with two touchdowns, while Alkaly Soumah and Zac Morton both contributed a score.
The Vikes look to keep their streak going when they host the 8-1 Paint Branch Panthers Nov. 4 during homecoming weekend.
