Girls tennis defeats Magruder, remains undefeated

The tennis team defeated the Magruder Colonels, 7-0, Oct. 10, improving its record to 9-0.

The Vikes dominated Magruder in all sets. Seniors Hannah Stahl, Grace Chandler and Nicky Gotrett each beat their opponents, 6-0, 6-0.

On the doubles court, Rachel Sisco and Rachel Arnesen, along with Sarah Dar and Kayla Lorberbaum, defeated their opponents 6-0, 6-0.

“We worked as a team today,” junior Anna Volkov said. “Everyone was focused on improving.”

The Vikes travel to Damascus to end their regular season undefeated as they take on the Hornets Oct. 11.
