Girls tennis defeats Clarksburg, 7-0

The tennis team defeated the Clarksburg Coyotes, 7-0, Oct. 5, improving its record to 7-0.

Singles player Anna Volkov defeated her opponent 6-1, 6-4 and Ali Dane won her match 6-2, 6-0.

On the doubles side, Kayla Lorberbaum and Sarah Dar didn’t lost a single game, defeating their opponents in straight sets.

“We made a statement with how we played today,” Volkov said.

The girls hope to extend their unbeaten streak when they host the Magruder Colonels Oct. 10 for senior night.
