The field hockey team beat the undefeated Blake Bengals 3-2, Oct. 3, improving its record to 4-3.
In the first half, attacker Cassandra McAlister and midfielders Sammy Tozzi and Krishna Jaitly each scored a goal. Tozzi scored her fifth goal of the season, established herself as the Vikes’ go-to scorer.
Blake put up a good effort, scoring two goals in the second half. This wasn’t enough, however, as the Vikes ended the Bengals’ winning streak.
The team hopes to keep its streak alive when it faces the 5-3 BCC Barons, Oct. 5, at home.
