The field hockey team lost 3-0 to the 6-1 Paint Branch Panthers Sept. 22, dropping its record to 2-3.
The Vikes played well on defense, but struggled offensively.
The Panthers scored one goal in the first half and two in the second.
“This loss means we have to pick up our performance now or let it all fall apart,” defender Valerie Acker said. “But I believe that every girl wants to move forward, so I highly doubt anyone will let it fall apart.”
The girls hope to bounce back when they travel to Magruder to face the 1-2 Colonels Sept. 27.
