The Vikes’ offense had a difficult time maintaining position at the start of the game and never got the momentum it needed to win.

Attacker Krishna Jaitly had a strong shot on goal, one of the few offensive plays of the night. The Blue Devils’ first goal came on a one-on-one play against the Whitman goalie seven feet from the net.

Entering halftime, Springbrook led 1-0, but soon scored another goal as a result of miscommunication within the Viking defense.
