The boys team sent three boats to the semifinals: the boys freshman eight finished fourth, the boys second eight finished fifth and the boys senior eight, led by Cornell recruit Will Brownlee, finished fourth.

In addition to the fourth-place finishes of the girls junior four team and girls senior eight team in the semifinals, the girls second eight made it to the finals on the second day, an  impressive feat. The boat finished third in the semifinals and fifth in the finals.

“We raced really hard and felt extremely rewarded placing six out of seven boats in the semifinals,” girls second eight rower Taylor Sheldon said. “I think we are looking as good as we can heading into the national regatta next week.”
