Boys lacrosse defeats Seneca valley, raises record to 6-2

The boys lacrosse dominated the 4-7 Seneca Valley Screaming Eagles, 13-6, on May 2, raising its record to 6-2.

The Vikes seemed to lead the Screaming Eagles throughout the entire game. Great play all around helped secure the win, such as a low to high shot by attacker Ryan Craig that went directly under the crossbar.

Other goals were scored by midfielder Christian Sanson, who leads the team in scoring, as well as attackers Trevor Haines, Sam Oshinsky and Mike Lancellotta.  Midfielders Norris Philleo and Grant Miller contributed to the Vikes offense as well. Attacker Daniel Karr said that the team did well overall against the Screaming Eagles, but still has room for improvement.

“We played well on both sides of the ball,” Karr said. “But we definitely need to step up for Sherwood.”

The Vikes will host the 9-2 Sherwood Warriors on May 5 in hopes to further their 6-2 record.
