Boys lacrosse fell to the Wootton Patriots, 11-5, on April 28, bringing its record to 5-2.
Junior midfielder Ryan Craig scored two goals, defenseman Connor Gordon scored one and attacks Christian Sanson and Mike Lancelotta each posted a goal, but their efforts weren’t enough to overcome the strong Wootton team.
The last match-up between these two teams was last season’s regional finals, when the Patriots defeated the Vikes by the same score. Whitman also lost to Wootton in the regional finals two seasons ago as well.

The team hopes to get back on track when they visit Damascus on April 29.
