The boys and co-ed volleyball teams defeated the Northwood Gladiators April 12 with both winning 3-0. The boys evened out their record for the season to 4-4, while co-ed improved to 5-3.
Co-ed dominated its game, beating the Gladiators in three straight sets. After holding the Gladiators to 16 and 17 points in the first two sets, the Vikes then captured the third 25-21 for the win.
Boys also won in straight sets, holding the Gladiators to less than 20 points for the first two sets. They finished the third set strong, winning 25-23. The boys have won three out of their last five games as they head towards playoffs.
Both teams hope to keep their winning streaks alive when they host the Richard Montgomery Rockets on April 27.
