The Girls Field Hockey team (3–0) demolished the Seneca Valley Screaming Eagles (0–2) 9–0 Monday night to extend their win streak.
The Vikes had a hard time getting it going in the first quarter, with none of their shots hitting the back of the net. However, the Vikes caught fire in the second quarter with the help of senior Kiley Kreters with back-to-back goals to give the Vikes a 2–0 lead. The Vikes added three more goals, one scored by junior Paige Profet with one second left in the half to extend the Vikes lead to 5–0 entering the second half.
The second half was no different regarding the Vike’s dominance, as the Vikes added four more goals in a smooth victory over the screaming Eagles. An impressive 8 Vikes managed to score Monday night.
The team next plays the Springbrook Blue Devils (1–0) on Wednesday, 3:45 P.M. at Jermone.
