Students who live in the River Falls or Woodrock communities can now take an activity bus home on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.
Previously, Whitman didn’t have an activity bus because most students get rides or take the bus. But, because the Ride On eliminated a couple routes this year, Goodwin said administrators decided to accommodate the ten or twelve students who were dependent on the bus.
“After parents complained, the county gave us an activity bus for those students who were disadvantaged by the elimination of Ride On stops,” Goodwin said.
