The boys tennis team (3–0) shut out the Northwest Jaguars (1–2) with a score of 7–0 Tuesday.
The Division 1 Vikes walked into the match against the Division 2 Jaguars hopeful, riding high off their past two triumphs.
“We were pretty confident going into today’s game because we have a really strong lineup and we were well prepared,” second doubles player Ben Marks said.
The team’s determination carried throughout the game, with each player dominating his match from start to finish.
“Everyone played solid matches today,” third singles player Andrew Leung said. “Most of them were pretty quick and all of them were straight sets.”
Number one singles player Evin McDonald cruised 6–0, 6–0 in his match, and Leung also won his match 6–0, 6–0.
The team was satisfied with their fierce performance and hope to continue their undefeated streak.
