Varsity Baseball defeated the Richard Montgomery Rockets 2-1, May 14, advancing to the second round of the playoffs.
The Vikings held a 1-0 lead throughout the game until the Rockets scored off of an error in the seventh inning.
However, the Vikes ended the game in the next half inning when shortstop Michael Flack stole third base. The catcher overthrew the third baseman and the ball trickled into the outfield, allowing Flack to easily score the game winning run.

The boys will face number one seeded Wootton on May 17, who defeated the Vikings 4-0 earlier in the season.
