Bdubbs Bakes: Summer Peach Crumble

This easy crumble is the perfect way to kiss summer peaches goodbye. Pair it with family, friends, and vanilla ice cream—you can’t go wrong.

Ingredients:

½ cup granulated sugar
4 teaspoons cornstarch
Salt
5 or 6 peaches
2/3 cup all-purpose flour
½ cup rolled oats
1/3 cup brown sugar
½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
6 tablespoons unsalted butter, cut into 6 pieces and chilled

Procedures:

1. Heat oven to 375 degrees. Mix granulated sugar, cornstarch, and a dash of salt together in a large bowl. Peel and cut peaches into small chunks. Add peaches to bowl and toss to coat. Transfer to 8-inch square dish.

2. Lightly pulse the flour, oats, brown sugar, cinnamon, and another dash of salt in food processor. Toss in butter and pulse until “dime size” clumps form (about 15 pulses). Scatter topping over peaches.

3. Bake for 30 minutes until topping is golden brown. Remove from oven and let the crumble cool for 30 minutes. Then enjoy!
