The girls lacrosse team’s incredible postseason run came to an end this Friday after losing to powerhouse Severna Park 17-2.
The loss caps a 13-3 season for the Vikings, which is the most wins in school history.
Attacker Ali Dane and midfielder Annabelle Scully scored for the Vikings in the loss, and goalies Lily Blum and Hannah Tatem split halves in net.
The Falcons, a squad filled with college commitments, had already eliminated defending champion Broadneck before ending the Vikings’ seven game winning streak.
Though they ended with a tough loss, the Vikes finished the season with a 9-0 home record and the West regional title.
With 16 returning players, the Vikings will try build on their success and defend their regional crown in 2015.
