The 11-5 girls volleyball team advanced into the second round of the playoffs after it defeated the 1-17 Kennedy Cavaliers, 3-0, on Oct. 31.
After finishing the regular season 10-5, the girls were enthusiastic and eager to head into playoffs, knowing they could get far with the strong team they have had this year.
“I’d say we played pretty well, because we basically crushed them,” outside-hitter Hannah Sue Hults said. “We didn’t really play up to our full potential because we probably could have kept them under 5 each set.”
The Vikes play the 7-12 Walter Johnson Wildcats at home on Monday, Nov. 4.
