The girls lacrosse team fell to the Damascus Hornets, 19-9 on May 6, lowering its record to 7-5.
Early in the game, the Vikings staged a small comeback tightening the score to 4-3, but Damascus’s attack was strong, scoring nine more goals before the half had ended. Despite a solid effort by the Vikings, Damascus came out with the win. The Vikings were held to only three goals in the second half.
The Vikes take on the Einstein Titans Wednesday at home where it will be the last regular season game for seniors Claire Block, Marissa Hosker, Caroline Seibel, Katelyn Rehmann, and Maggie Sullivan.
