The co-ed volleyball team defeated the Blair Blazers by a final score of 3-0 April 17 to improve to a 3-3 record.
With great teamwork and defense, the team pulled off a 3-0 victory, overpowering a tough Blair team. The Vikings had multiple spikes and accurate serves to run away with the game, with captain Madison Craig leading the way. The Vikes struggled in their last two games against Poolesville and Northwest, dropping both matches 0-3, but quickly bounced back against the Blazers.
Last season the Vikings finished the season 3-7 after dropping three of their last four games, so this year’s team hopes to continue winning to secure a spot in the postseason.
The Vikings hope to improve their record when they take on the Clarksburg Coyotes April 22 at home.
