The girls basketball team flattened the 0-2 Wheaton Knights Dec. 8, with a score of 66-19 to bump up its record to an even 1-1.
The Vikes completely dominated the Knights from the beginning of the matchup, shutting down Wheaton in the first quarter. At the end of the first half, the Vikes were up 43-3.
Freshman Marie Hatch was the highest scorer of the game with a total of 19 points. She was versatile on the court, scoring from both inside the paint and beyond the three-point arc.
The team will face off against the 1-1 Quince Orchard Cougars away Dec. 11, in hopes of establishing a winning record.
