The girls tennis team beat the 2-2 Sherwood Warriors 6-1 Sept. 11, advancing the Vikes’ record to an undefeated 3-0.
Singles player Anna Volkov had a strong game against her Warrior competitor.
“Her match was supposed to be really tough, but she played consistently,” teammate Olivia Tompkins said.
The Vikes were motivated by their upcoming match against the Walter Johnson Wildcats.

“The team played really intensely to prepare for our WJ match,” Tompkins said.
The Vikes play at the 2-1 Wildcats Sept. 13.
