The girls lacrosse team defeated the 5-5 Seneca Valley Eagles May 4, 16-7, improving its record to 5-6.
The team came out strong on Senior Night, with attack Clara Schneider breaking past two defenders from the wing to put the Vikes up early.
After two goals, the Eagles briefly held the lead, but the score was evened out with a goal by attack Sarah Backenstoe.
Both teams were active early in the game, but the Vikings prevailed to shut the Eagles down for their fifth victory.

“We were really motivated,” attack Annabelle Scully said. “I think we played really well and executed [our plays] really well.”
The Vikings will look to top off their record against the 7-0 Damascus Hornets May 7 at Damascus.
