The volleyball team improved its record to 4-3 Sept. 30 after defeating the Kennedy Cavaliers 3-0.
The Vikes took control of the match right from the start thanks to strong play from hitter Catherine Benz and setter Maddie Craig.
In the second and third matches, the team was lead by strong defense from Kaiwei Hsu, Linn Bumpers, Angie Han and Erin Doran. Both Doran and Bumpers had multiple blocks in the match.
The girls will host the undefeated Richard Montgomery Rockets Oct. 5.
