The baseball team fell 9-7 to the Gaithersburg Trojans in the 4A West regional semifinals on May 18, concluding its season with a 13-5 record.
This is the second year in a row that the Trojans have eliminated the Vikings from the playoffs. Gaithersburg defeated the team last year by a score of 8-2.
With a lot of returning talent and a strong freshman class, the team looks to build on their success next season.
