The boys tennis team competed in the quarterfinals of the county tournament on May 6 at various high schools around the county.
Fourth singles seed Joe Davis incinerated his Richard Montgomery opponent 6-0, 6-1. Third doubles duo Joey Gumataotao and Simon Amat defeated their respective Northwest players 6-1, 6-4.
Each winning player will advance to the semifinals on May 9, which will take place at Blake for the singles, and Walter Johnson for the doubles.
